Dear Futureself,

Went on a hike in the woodlands and fields beyond Nevada City. I hiked on grassy paths through oak woodlands leading past small streams to old houses. Through the sun, and the trees, the chirps of birds, and quiet flow of the streams, I am reminded that man is meant for nature not the concrete of schools and offices.
